New MCC Music Business Class on Live Disc Jockey Techniques Announced

Music Business





Mesa Community College’s Music Business Program recently announced a new class designed to prepare individuals for careers in today’s music industry. DJ, Radio Host and Promoter, William Reed, will teach students how to become a professional Live DJ.

Using top-of-the-line equipment, students will learn the creative and marketing aspects of Live DJ event production. The hands-on course will teach students industry standards for formatting, cueing and sequencing of songs for audience entertainment. Students will produce their own live DJ event as part of the course.

This course is geared towards students of all skill levels who are interested in learning more about how to become a live DJ. It is also helpful those students who are interested in learning how to design, promote, and market live DJ events.
