Music Business Club Artist Show: Blooze Line BandMesa Community College’s Music Business Program announces two new classes designed to prepare individuals for careers in today’s music industry.  Openings are still available in:

 

 

MUC210: Advanced Industry Topics: Concert Promotion and Touring

 

Whether you seek a career as a concert promoter or you are an artist and want to learn inside tips for getting more gigs, MUC210 will give you the skills needed to succeed in the live performance sector.

 

In this hands-on course, Concert Promoter Jeremiah Gratza, of Stateside Presents/President Gator, teaches you the advanced aspects of concert promotion, touring and festival production. Learn about marketing, planning, operations, talent buying, and budgeting for profitable and successful music-performance stage shows and

tours.

 

MUC211: Advanced Industry Topics: Artist Management and Development

 

Artist Manager Peter Sotos will teach you how to effectively promote, plan tours, build your fan base, increase your draw at shows, get radio airplay, and land festival gigs for the artists you manage.

 

Learn how to maximize productivity and think strategically when developing creative talent and crafting long-term career plans.
